Summary:
The Manufacturing Manager position reports to ABEC's VP - Global Services and Springfield Manufacturing.
This position is to maintain on-time deliveries, high quality, and improve production efficiencies through comprehensive resource planning, lean manufacturing techniques, and disciplined production processes.
Achieve low cost producer status while maintaining total customer satisfaction.
Work with product development teams to ensure optimal integration of product and production processes.
Create and maintain a work environment consistent with long-term employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
o Supervises production line flow including but not limited to testing and adjusting staffing and equipment to ensure production starts and stays on schedule.
o Supervises and manages all production activities performed by all manufacturing personnel while maintaining a high degree of visibility and access to staff throughout shift.
o Continuously evaluates manufacturing operations to determine improvements through effective metrics, capital, personnel, and operational standards.
o Identifies and drives continuous improvement (CI) in all that is done.
o Coordinates with Quality Control to maintain quality standard while taking appropriate corrective action measures to resolve deficiencies.
o Works hand in hand with scheduler to ensure staffing is in line with business needs.
o Trains, motivates, coaches, rewards, and disciplines staff.
Resolves issues within manufacturing area to ensure all employees work as a team.
o Takes an active role in people development.
Including but limited to the development of next line leadership.
o Enforces all safety policies and ensures all manufacturing staff attends required safety training.
Investigates accidents in a timely and accurate manner.
o Resolves production related issues with representatives from other departments throughout the company.
o Assigns duties and monitors quality of work; assures employees conform to organizational policies and procedures while meeting state and federal employment and safety guidelines.
o Maintains knowledge of manufacturing equipment and machinery along with its capacity to meet production needs.
o Proactively identifies any potential barriers and proposes solutions without impeding production.
o Establish departmental goals and objectives with strategic planning.
o Provide support to Continuous Improvement strategies and opportunities through empowering the team to take an active role in participating in continuous improvement opportunities including training and support.
o Directly supervises employees within manufacturing department.
o Carries out management and supervisory tasks in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable federal and state laws.
o Responsible for all interviewing, hiring, and training of employees.
Not limited to planning, assigning, and directing manufacturing tasks; appraises performance, rewards and disciplines employees.
o Addresses all complaints or questions specific to manufacturing processes and personnel along with proposing any viable solutions.
o Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned.
o Ability to travel when required
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree required - technical degree preferred o 3-5 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment o Ability to read engineering drawings o Experience with capacity planning, from a people and equipment perspective o Able to train and motivate employees to create quality product, increase KPI's and growth the profitability of this plant.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with professional presentation and negotiation skills o Must be flexible, innovative and comfortable in setting own priorities o Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills o Good understanding of lean manufacturing principles o Experience with high volume manufacturing operations o Strong organization and planning skills o Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time o Must be able to lift 50lb o Fluent written and spoken English o Authorized to work in the USPI226565348 Recommended Skills Business Process Improvement Business Requirements Capacity Planning Commercial Awareness Communication Corrective And Preventive Action (Capa) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
